Mountain Adventures – Tatras, Beskids, and Bieszczady
Hiking in the Polish mountains is an amazing experience. One of the most popular trails leads to Giewont, also called the “Sleeping Knight.” This hike starts in the Kondratowa Valley and ends with climbing rocks using chains – a real adventure!
If you prefer something calmer, the Beskid Niski is a quiet region with beautiful hills, small wooden churches, and peaceful meadows. In the Bieszczady Mountains, you can climb Tarnica, the highest peak in the area. In spring, the views are especially beautiful when everything starts to bloom.

Another great place is Ojców National Park, where you can walk through the Prądnik Valley. You’ll see tall rock cliffs, caves, and historic sites like Pieskowa Skała Castle and the famous Hercules’ Club rock.

If you love nature and animals, visit the Białowieża Forest. The Carska Tropina trail lets you explore one of Europe’s last old forests – and you might even see a wild bison!
In the Table Mountains, you’ll find special rock formations you won’t see anywhere else. Trails like Szczeliniec Wielki and Błędne Skały take you through narrow rock paths that look like a natural maze.
And for those who enjoy the sea, head to Słowiński National Park. The moving sand dunes there look like a desert, but they are next to the Baltic Sea – a truly magical place.
